Welcome to my world...
Thank you for taking the time to visit Dezinestudeo, a huge part of me and my life. OK, many people have asked about the spelling of Dezinestudeo and to be quite frank about it, it's simple, it was the only spelling of the name "Design Studio" i could find that i liked enough to buy the domain name and settle on, and i thought it was quite...well...arty, so hopefuly it clears that up!
A long time ago in the late 80's i started out painting Skateboards, BMX's and Mountainbikes. After a couple of years the local "boy racers" and car enthusiasts had me painting British Bulldogs, Flags and the odd Cannabis Leaf design on MK1 and MK2 Escorts, XR3I's and the odd Cosworth or 2. I had thrown up some Graffiti in my local area (unfortunately after being there for about 8 years the area was demolished and with it my Graffiti!), i wouldn't say i was an accomplished artist but enjoyed my creative nature non-the-less.
Fundamentaly my grades at school were solely due to my drawing skills and i had found a flare for Technical Illustration (pens and pencils back then you know!) and i found that my creative talents also helped pay for my passion for what's known today as "Extreme Sports".
Well to leap-frog forward from the early 90's to around 2003 i had basically grown a huge amount through lifes trials and tribulations, as an adult i left the parties and the attitude behind me and sat down in front of a much older version of Photoshop than i use now. After months and months of endless nights and days teaching myself lots of Adobe software releases (and various other tools a good friend of mine introduced me to, cheers KB), i had grasped a new and inspirational way of developing my artistic nature whilst honing my skills once again. I purchased a Cannon EOS 350d about 4 years ago and the rest, as they say, is history!
With encouragement from friends and family along the way Dezinestudeo has become much more than just a play thing for me. I have undoubtadly opened door after door for myself along the road and Dezinestudeo shares great success with those that have shared my journey and those that have also trusted me to create websites, logo's, business cards, flyers and all manner of things arty for them. These opportunities have developed my talents even further, aswell as helping me grow as a person let alone as a Graphic Designer. I haven't been to college, i didn't go to University, what i did was trust myself and give myself time and made a lot of valuable sacrifices and had the patience to get where i am today.
I do not deem myself as a great Graphic Designer or know much about the "mainstream" Graphic Design industry, nor do i profess to be outstanding at any level. All i do is create what comes naturally to me with the skills i have picked up over the past few years, coupled with the artistic side in me that blossomed all those years ago. If anyone enjoys my work, albeit Photography or Graphic Design, then i have achieved more than i ever could have thought possible. And for anyone to contact me and ask for my assistance in creating a website or any other kind of media is the greatest compliment of all, i cherish those moments forever...my life continues...so will Dezinestudeo.
